The Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra and Conductor Mark Turpin launches into a feast of orchestral classics and music from the stage and screen in their return to The Arts Centre Gold Coast.
Founded in 1984, the Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra has remained the Coast’s only full-sized community orchestra. Bringing together highly-skilled, amateur local musicians in an ensemble capable of performing anything from popular songs and movie soundtracks, through to the most demanding symphonic repertoire.
They will also pay homage to 30 years of musicals at The Arts Centre Gold Coast, with medleys from Porgy and Bess, Les Miserables, a sing along with the Sound of Music and more.
