From Friday 30th March- Monday 2nd April, Surfers Paradise will once again transform into a carnival of laughter and entertainment with the return of the Australian Street Entertainment Championships. See both invited and competing performers take to stages across Surfers Paradise, all vying for the crowd's attention over the Easter long weekend.

A selection of hopeful buskers will battle it out over four days to prove they can hold their ground and compete for the ultimate title of 2018 Australian Street Entertainment Champion. Our competing performers will be looking to impress as they are evaluated by a panel of judges on their creativity, originality and WOW factor! The performer who brings the most awe and amazement to festival goers will win a cash prize and the highly acclaimed title.
Evening Extravaganza
You can see the very best professional street entertainers reinvent and integrate snippets of their acts to craft a every single day of the event in the Marquee pitch on Surfers Paradise Beach. Entry is free, exit is by donation in the hat.
